30 Days - Apparel, Packs, and some equipment.
10 Days - Knives, hardgoods, and select tools.
14 Days - CORE class fees may be refunded up to 14 days before the first day of class.
The most effective way to exchange, given the fluctuations of our stock levels, is to immediately place a new order for the item you would like to exchange for. Send the incorrect item back, and we will refund to your original form of payment upon receipt of your return. See instructions below for receiving authorization to send your item back to us.
We are also happy to handle the exchange without the extra order by shipping your exchange item once your returned item arrives back to us. We will fill the exchange order as stock levels permit at that time, and will contact you should we be out of stock on the item you requested.

Q: I bought an item in your retail store and would like to return it by mail. Can I do this?
A: Yes, you may return items purchased in our retail store within 30 days of initial receipt of your purchase by mail following the instructions provided above. Be sure to include your invoice information with the return and your refund will be issued in the form of a gift certificate.
Q: I bought an item online and would like to return it to your retail store location. Can I do this?
A: Yes, please feel free to return your unused items to the Dogpatch Base Store. We will be able to generate your RA in store for exchange with items in stock there, or refund to be processed within 2-3 days of bringing it in.
Q: Do you accept returns of final sale items?
A: No, we do not accept returns or exchanges on final sale merchandise, online or in store. Prices ending in .98 indicate a final sale purchase. Samples, prototypes, and seconds are sold "as is" and are not eligible for warranty coverage.
Q: Do you accept returns on underwear?
A: No, given the personal nature of this type of product we can not accept returns for opened underwear items. We will, however accept returns for unopened items. These products are still covered under our warranty policy if a defect is present. Please take a close look at our Fit Guide to ensure that you select the right size. Q: I received a gift and need to return it. What do I need to do?
A: Please send back your unused gift items within 60 days of the initial purchase by following the return instructions above. Once we receive returned item you will receive a store credit in the form of a gift certificate for the current selling price of the items.
Q: Can I return a gift certificate that I purchased?
A: No, gift certificates are considered a final sale and cannot be returned or refunded.
Q: The item(s) I am returning were bought on sale or with a promo code. Will this affect my refund?
A: No, we will always honor the original purchase price for any subsequent return transactions.
