// Mission Adaptable //
Built to supplement your capabilities in any situation, the Anso Astra is a perfect companion to your everyday carry.
The Astra is a modular tool following the slim pattern of a surgeon's scalpel. Due to its small footprint the Astra can be carried in your pocket, on your belt, or stashed in a kit of your EDC essentials. The tool itself is equally versatile, with modular attachments. You can choose from a growing list of items to order from Anso himself.
We optioned a drop point blade in satin finished RWL-34 due to its all around performance. The overall size and stylized look of the Astra make it a tool that can be used just about anywhere without raising eyebrows. Contrasting the satin finished blade is Anso’s recognizable 3-step process on the titanium handle: bead blasted, stonewashed and anodized. The small Kydex sheath comes with a removable belt loop. Our edition comes in our signature laser etched topo pattern with three fullers milled into the handle with several color options.

// THE EXPLORER
Bowen’s craftsmanship shines in his ability to create a razor thin separation between the two blade grinds. The high hollow grind of the cutting edge reduces resistance for easier cutting.The unique paracord wrap that runs along the perimeter of the handle creates a very useful negative space down the center. The thin footprint indexes your fingers positively to increase your overall control of the knife. In turn, heavier tasks become easier and there is less fatigue during longer working periods.This edition utilizes CTS XHP, which possesses corrosion resistance equivalent to Type 440C stainless, but attains a maximum hardness of 64 HRC. This makes the blade more forgiving in outdoor environments.The skeletonized handle comes pre-wrapped in 550 paracord, which can serve as a useful rope reserve or be reworked among the twelve lashing points to suit your specific needs.
