Designed as a true insulation layer, the Shag Master Hoodie is built from Polartec Thermal Pro High Loft, a super-soft performance fleece that delivers serious warmth without the weight. The deep pile holds heat when you’re still and breathes when you’re moving, keeping you comfortable as conditions change.
With an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio, the Shag Master packs down easily and is always ready when the temperature drops. Reinforced elbows guard against abrasion, and a two-way front zipper lets you reach belt-worn gear without opening the jacket. High chest pockets with mesh lining stay clear under packs and double as vents when you need to cool off. The oversized hood with reinforced brim adds warmth and protection from wind and shifting weather. Integrated thumbholes provide partial hand coverage and make layering easy, while flatlock seams keep everything smooth and comfortable.

Designed as an insulation jacket, the Shag Master is made from Polartec® Thermal Pro® High Loft. This super soft fabric minimizes heat loss when you’re at a stand-still or lets air pass through to keep you cool when you’re in action.
The optimal warmth-to-weight ratio provides unrivaled compressibility for those times you have big plans but little space. Integrated thumb holes provide partial hand coverage, while reinforced elbows strengthen the Shag's ability to withstand the elements.
CREATURE COMFORT
Tailored to layer comfortably under a shell, the Shag Master features an active fit to reduce drag from the naturally high lofted material, while the cut ensures there is enough room to move.
The natural softness of the Shag is enhanced by top stitching along all seams to keep them flat, minimizing bulk when layering up.
Capable Companion
Reinforced thumbholes prevent bunching when donning your shell and provide partial hand coverage for extra warmth. Reinforced elbows extend the Shag's useful lifetime, and a bidirectional center front zipper makes it easy to access belt-worn gear without fully unzipping your jacket.
An oversized hood with reinforced brim provides both warmth and mild weather protection, while both arms feature upper arm pockets with integral webbing loop for easy access to critical gear. Each arm also features a velcro loop for customization with unit or morale patches.
