Praetorian Guards were chosen by the Roman Empire for their skill, courage, and bravery and rewarded handsomely for their service. Inspired by the history of these elite servicemen, we designed our Praetorian Hoodie for adaptable leaders that step into roles of responsibility without hesitation. These heroes demand gear that performs effortlessly through a range of environments and rewards them with the luxury and refinement reserved only for the elite.
Constructed from 100% extra-fine 19-micron merino wool, Praetorian delivers natural thermoregulation, breathability, and next-to-skin comfort across a wide range of conditions. The fabric’s ability to manage moisture and resist odor allows for extended wear, while its soft hand and drape elevate the piece beyond a purely technical layer.
An active fit and thoughtful patterning support movement without excess, reinforced at the elbows for durability in high-use zones. The Aero Hood provides structured coverage, while a full-length YKK® front zipper allows for easy venting and temperature control. Storage is streamlined and intentional, with two hand patch pockets and a discreet Napoleon pocket to keep essentials secure and accessible.
Finished with thumbhole cuffs, a drop-back hem, and crafted in Italy, the Praetorian Hoodie balances capability with restraint, designed for leaders who value performance, longevity, and quiet refinement.
ADAPTIVE FABRIC
Merino wool has the natural ability to regulate body temperature. During exertion or warm weather, it wicks away moisture from your body and releases it on the surface. This evaporation mechanism has a cooling effect, enhancing comfort while keeping you dry.
To help you stay warm in cold weather, the air pockets in the Merino fiber trap body heat to provide insulation. This adaptive capability makes the Praetorian highly flexible, important if you need to count on a small set of gear to handle unpredictable conditions.
