Overview

Bob Terzuola wrote the book on Tactical Knives. His ATCF design became the benchmark for all that followed. We are proud to offer this one of a kind Terzuola ATCF OG Elite TAD Custom Edition.

The ATCF OG Elite is a masterfully crafted tool whose design helped to create a category of knives that is still going strong some forty years later. This exceptional folding knife combines top-grade materials, precision engineering, and meticulous attention to detail to deliver a reliable and robust cutting instrument  years ahead in innovation.

At its core, the ATCF OG Elite features a 3.75" Magnacut blade, measuring .1.40" in thickness. The blasted and tumbled blade showcases a hollow ground spear point with thumb disk and flipper deployment. With its acute point, the ATCF OG Elite is well-suited for intricate tasks requiring precision coupled with impressive penetration.

The ATCF OG Elite features a precision crafted liner lock, assuring rock solid security. The knife's contoured “Zebra Stripe” carbon fiber slabs have our triple fullers milled on the presentation side.

The black G10 backspacer is sandwiched between the titanium frame and carbon fiber overlays, offering subtle contrast. Further adding to the subtle design cues is Terzuola’s  custom pivot with zirconium ring and the titanium milled pocket clip, which has been blind mounted. Finally, our logo mirrors Terzuola’s on the blade.

The ATCF OG Elite is a versatile, everyday capable companion, tackling a wide range of cutting needs with ease. The impeccable fit and finish of the ATCF OG Elite demonstrate the exceptional craftsmanship and unwavering commitment to quality that defines Terzuola’s work.

Behind the Scenes with BOB Terzuola

Bob Terzuola initially crafted fixed-blade combat knives for military and security personnel in Guatemala, El Salvador and Nicaragua. In 1984 he relocated to Santa Fe, New Mexico, he began making folding knives, coining "Tactical Knife" for his discreet designs. His ATCF (Advanced Technology Combat Folder) is his most popular model, making him widely considered the "Godfather" of tactical folding knives.

Terzuola has authored books and articles on tactical knives and knifemaking. He moved his shop to Albuquerque in 2008, and in 2016, to San Diego, California, where he continues to hand-make knives.

He has collaborated with companies like Spyderco, Strider Knives, and Microtech Knives. His 1989 collaboration with Spyderco was groundbreaking: it was the first commercial liner lock folder, the first production knife to use G-10 scales and ATS-34 steel, and the first to have laser-blanked parts. In June 2023, Terzuola was inducted into the "Cutlery Hall of Fame" and is recognized as one of the "Mount Rushmore" Legends of modern knifemaking.
