Ophid·​i·​an /// adjective: of, relating to, or resembling snakes

Inspired by the adaptive geometry of reptilian scales, the TAD Ophidian Patch reinterprets one of nature’s oldest forms of armor through the lens of the Triple Aught Design icon.

A layered scale pattern creates depth and texture across the field, while the signature TAD logo is integrated into the design for a restrained, dimensional finish. Each individual scale is built up through a painstaking embroidery process, creating a raised surface that gives the patch a distinctly three-dimensional presentation and rewards closer inspection.

Each colorway draws from the natural tones and markings of serpents found across varied environments, from arid terrain and dense vegetation to darker, more subdued palettes.

Designed to add a subtle hit of texture and character to packs, jackets, pouches, and other loop-compatible gear, the Ophidian Patch is a compact expression of adaptation, protection, and meticulous construction.
