Overview
We are proud to introduce our first collaboration with Jamie Simeon of Simeon Custom knives. His Un-Bo caught our attention with its agile and graceful style. The Un-Bo is reductionist in build, but not short on features. The handle is an expertly contoured framelock of OD micarta and titanium. Pared down to its essence, the knife is profiled to be thin and lithe, yet secure in the hand. Hidden under the micarta is a full length inset titanium slab to bolster torsional rigidity. The blade itself is a modified Bowie with Sheffield style clip, his smoke finish offers depth to the contours of the CPM 154 blade. Deployment by either the milled relief cut out in the blade or the flipper tab is robust and positive due to the bearings under the titanium pivot. Finer details include a 3D titanium clip, pivot, stand offs and screws all finished in a subtle matte blast finish. Our logo is at the base of the blade on the presentation side while Simeon’s logo is nested in the lockbar relief. Finally, Jamie milled our triple fullers into the micarta slab. Reduced to perfection, the Un-Bo is an effortless and capable EDC.

Behind the Scenes with Jamie Simeon
Jamie Simeon grew up in rural Louisiana hunting, fishing and enjoying the outdoors. He began collecting custom knives in 1993 and have had a passion for them as long as he can remember. His job in the pipeline industry has taken him all over the world and in and out of many great knifemakers shops. He has learned from some of the very best. In 2009 he began making his own folders in Tennessee. Each knife he create is made with exacting standards based on his wealth of experience as a collector and in the field end user.
