This TAD exclusive Seward Sentinel 3V is a combination of Japanese, Western, and Persian design cues to enhance performance and carry.

This Sentinel 3V is our field grade version, retaining all the performance of the forged edition with ultra tough 3V steel. 

This Sentinel features a machine finish 3V blade, with a swedge to relieve forward weight. The substantially dropped guard mates perfectly to the drop at the butt, locking the knife in hand. Further aiding in grip is an expertly contoured grip in black cord wrap over natural micarta for subtle contrast. With the point and back of the grip brought closer to centerline, forward piercing motions transfer shock straight back instead of angled away from the user. This point and grip redesign with the addition of a subtle drop to the butt allows the knife to be drawn and used in a push grip if desired. Combined, these features make the Sentinel fast, neutral and secure in hand. 

The full tang and .167” spine thickness create a robust tool, capable of any task asked of it. The balance of the blade and handle design leave few tasks out of reach for this middleweight tanto.

How the knife is carried is just as important as the knife itself. The Sentinel includes a foldover style Kydex sheath and handmade titanium J-hook for IWB carry. The throat of the sheath is open to give a full and faster grip.
