Introducing the Reign fixed blade by Sangin Knives — a modern interpretation of the Persian recurve.
Measuring 9 inches overall, the Reign features a gracefully sweeping recurve blade that delivers exceptional slicing power by creating multiple cutting points along its edge. Inspired by a centuries-old design, the recurve excels at draw cuts and deep slashes, while the forward blade curve concentrates power toward the tip, making it just as effective for precise piercing and thrust work. The aggressive top wedge grind (false edge) reduces weight toward the tip, improves point control, and enhances penetration on hard targets — all wrapped in a silhouette that is as tactical as it is historic.
Crafted from CPM 154, a premium American-made stainless steel, the Reign offers an exceptional balance of edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance — perfect for hard use in the field without sacrificing sharpness or durability. Each blade is hand-fitted with a striking ironwood handle, known for its natural density and beauty, and secured with four brass pins for a timeless, rock-solid construction. Finished with a rugged black Cerakote coating for added protection and low-glare stealth, each Reign is sharpened to a razor-point edge that’s ready to dominate in both combat and utility roles. This is a knife that doesn’t just carry the legacy of Persian bladesmithing — it commands it.

As a retired Marine Raider, Jake found his true passion in Sangin Instruments. He wanted to create something special, not only for the military, first responder, and special operations community, but for anyone who values ultra-premium watches. Now he is fortunate enough to move onto the next venture in the Sangin legacy, Sangin Knives.
When Jake and his wife started the Sangin journey as a small business, they were doing their best to make something special, building watches at their kitchen table, determined to offer the best customer service and special timepieces using the best materials. Now, by pooling the wisdom from friends and family in the industry, they've managed to put together, what they believe is, the highest-performing fixed blade ever built.
Sangin Knives starts its journey with a name that is synonymous with precision and durability. Each custom blade uses the finest super steels, precious metals, exotic woods, ensuring the utmost attention to detail.
