This custom Sangin Raider is a remarkable knife born from a collaboration between Jake Servantes, the founder of Sangin Instruments, and Connor Toor of Toor Knives. This knife is a significant nod to their original creation from early 2015, designed specifically for  the Marine Raider Battalion.  Jake sought out Connor’s expertise to develop a fixed blade that not only embodied unwavering reliability but also honored the exceptional craftsmanship that elite Marines deserved. The result was the original Raider knife, meticulously crafted in a distinctive drop point configuration, which quickly became a source of immense pride for its users, signifying strength and purpose without ever being made available to the general public.

Fast forward nearly a decade, and Jake is thrilled to reintroduce the Raider under the Sangin Knives brand, breathing new life into the legendary design while simultaneously incorporating advanced technology and metallurgical enhancements. The latest iteration of the Raider is constructed from CPM Magnacut , a steel known for its exceptional balance of toughness, edge retention, and corrosion resistance. These properties make the Raider ideal for a variety of environments, whether you are embarking on rugged outdoor adventures or tackling daily tasks. The blade has been designed with expertly ground bevels at slightly different angles, which significantly enhances sharpening longevity, allowing users to maintain a razor-sharp edge with minimal effort. Additionally, a beautifully crafted false edge grind along the blade's top reduces puncturing resistance, further elevating the knife’s performance and versatility.

This custom Raider is made from black paper Micarta, providing a durable yet comfortable grip. A stunning, intricately carved brass inlay adorns the handle, featuring a custom geometric pattern that symbolizes the symmetry and attention to detail embodied in the Raider's design. Each brass inlay is meticulously set by hand to ensure perfect alignment, exemplifying the dedication to craftsmanship that Sangin Knives is known for. Additionally, the handle is secured with individually set and polished press pins, seamlessly blending functionality with aesthetics while ensuring the structural integrity of the handle. No detail has been overlooked in the creation of this blade.

To ensure your knife is well-protected, each Raider is accompanied by a suede-wrapped KYDEX® sheath equipped with an UltiClip Slim 3.3” belt mount, providing both convenience and security.
