This Elite edition of the PM Mac 2 3.5” features upgrades to both materials and design. We have added Mcnees geared backspacers as well as his custom fold over pocket clip and Magnacut blades.

Jonathan McNees started his Performance Machine Series with one thing in mind: to complete the entire production process within the USA. While this knife can be called a Mid-Tech, the amount of work Jonathan does himself blurs the line between custom and production.

The McNees PM Mac 2 3.5” TAD Edition is the perfect balance between a gentleman's pocket knife and full size folder. A true mid-size, the PM Mac 2 3.5” is easy in the pocket but robust enough for heavier tasks. Its lightweight dimensions and contoured frame make it all but disappear in the pocket. Custom oversized thumb studs, in conjunction with caged bearings, deploy the upswept clip point with authority. The Magnacut steel is incredibly durable, as is its heavily stonewashed finish. The upward cant and trailing point on the blade present the edge while keeping the hand out of the way during cutting tasks. A titanium framelock keeps things secure while the contoured slabs prevent hotspots during heavier work. Upgraded steel, machine hollow ground blades with redesigned jimping are all new on this edition.

Our TAD Edition comes in either a dark stonewash, rich bronze or deep blue with our signature topo pattern laser applied to the frame and clip. Our triple fullers are milled into the presentation side of the handle, while our logo is nested on the blade, mirroring the Mcnees logo.
