The F-16 CMC slabs are off an F-16 brake system. It's composed of Carbon and Silicon Carbide and can withstand temperatures of up to 2,700° F. One of the unique properties that make it a great fit on knives is its ability for it to provide more grip when wet. It is super rigid and sturdy as well as exotic and rare for this application.

The carbon fiber backspacer is sandwiched between two white G10 liners to match the frame. Further adding to the subtle design cues is the satin finished titanium custom pivot and screws.
