Overview

Jason Clark of Clark Custom knives makes gentleman style folders with exemplary fit and finish. They are refined with an expert blend of thoughtful material choices. His designs, while being finely crafted, beg for use. His Mini Lightning caught our attention with its sweeping style. It is a small, pocket-friendly gentleman’s build that is big on features.

The handle is an expertly contoured liner lock of vintage paper Micarta and blasted zirconium bolsters, separated by a thin red G10 liner. The short overall height of the build accentuates the agile 3” Persian blade. The Damasteel’s striking pattern compliments the blade’s profile perfectly.

While the knife is profiled to be slim and carryable, it is secure in the hand due to the contoured handle. The pivot and caged bearing, hidden under the zirconium bolster, offer effortless deployment of the flipper tab.

Finer details include a floating Damasteel backspacer that matches the blade. The titanium fold over pocket clip and screws are all finished in a blackened finish. Our logo mirrors Jason’s on the opposite side of the blade. The overall dimensions of the Mini Lightning grant it access to most environments and the quality of the build will have you looking for excuses to use it.

Due to the nature of custom items, slight variations may occur.
