Overview
Built for those who navigate the grey zone, the Intercept Pant is designed to move effortlessly between worlds, balancing classic style with covert capability.
This Special Edition (SE) of Intercept pants are made from prestigious Kaihara denim, crafted by the legendary Fukuyama-based mill whose century-long mastery of indigo has defined Japanese denim. Since 1893, Kaihara has combined time-honored rope-dye techniques with vintage shuttle-loom weaving to produce fabrics prized worldwide for their depth of color, nuanced texture, and lasting strength. Made available in Kaihara Cross Hatch Indigo 10.5oz denim, these Special Edition pants include exceptional details such as welted coin pockets, chainstitched hems and waistbands, and flat-felled inseams, outseams and back rise.
Born in the shadow of Japan’s Seto Inland Sea, Kaihara has spent more than a century perfecting the art of indigo. Their Cross Hatch Indigo 10.5oz denim carries that legacy forward with a fabric that feels alive from the first wear. Woven on vintage shuttle looms in Fukuyama, the cloth’s distinctive cross-hatch weave creates a subtle grid of highs and lows - like a topo map of texture - catching light and shadow in every movement. Rope-dyed in Kaihara’s signature indigo, each thread holds a depth of blue that slowly reveals coppery highlights and ghostly fades with time. At 10.5 ounces it’s a sweet-spot weight: light enough to move with you on day one, stout enough to tell your story in a patina that’s uniquely yours.
This is denim built not just to endure, but to evolve - recording every mile, every adventure, every moment in the field.
