Our edition showcases skeletonized G10 frames, revealing the milled topo titanium liner below. Every titanium component, from the back spacer to the pivot collars and the deep-carry titanium pocket clip is blackened on this one of a kind knfe. The blackened titanium liner has our signature topo engraved deep. Our logo mirrors HMC’s at the base of the drop point damascus blade. The Transient 3.9 TAD Edition sets a new standard for machining excellence, designed to be a lasting legacy.

Behind the Scenes with HMC Knives:
Jim Vandeveld, the driving force behind HMC Knives, is based in Erie, Pennsylvania. He brings over a decade of experience as a CNC hardmill machinist and injection mold maker to his craft. Vandeveld discovered his passion for creating top-notch custom tools a few years ago, meticulously honing his skills to develop efficient processes and maintain rigorous standards. In April 2022, he transitioned to full-time private manufacturing and knifemaking. When not with family, Vandeveld is immersed in tool making, creating exceptional fixed blade and folding knives, and enjoys bowhunting and motorcycling. He invites collaboration to create unique, handcrafted knives.
