Introducing the limited-edition HMC Transient 3.2 TAD Edition, a knife meticulously designed as an extension of your hand. This eminently pocketable EDC boasts a CPM MagnaCut blade with a 63.5 hRC hardness, guaranteeing unparalleled toughness and enduring sharpness.
Experience smooth and robust blade deployment thanks to Skiff Made ceramic multi-row bearings and a ceramic detent ball. The knife offers versatile deployment options, featuring both a front flipper and a windowed thumb cutout.
Our edition showcases full titanium frames, enhanced with three fullers in the handle, and is available with either an OD Green or Black Cerakote. Every component, from the titanium back spacer to the pivot collars and the deep-carry titanium pocket clip is Cerakoated black on both variations. The custom titanium pocket clip has our signature topo engraved deep. Our logo mirrors HMC’s at the base of the blade. The Transient 3.2 TAD Edition sets a new standard for machining excellence, designed to be a lasting legacy.

Behind the Scenes with HMC Knives:
Jim Vandeveld, the driving force behind HMC Knives, is based in Erie, Pennsylvania. He brings over a decade of experience as a CNC hardmill machinist and injection mold maker to his craft. Vandeveld discovered his passion for creating top-notch custom tools a few years ago, meticulously honing his skills to develop efficient processes and maintain rigorous standards. In April 2022, he transitioned to full-time private manufacturing and knifemaking. When not with family, Vandeveld is immersed in tool making, creating exceptional fixed blade and folding knives, and enjoys bowhunting and motorcycling. He invites collaboration to create unique, handcrafted knives.
