Overview

There are milestones in design that reset expectations. The Halo Ultralight Jacket is one of them.

At just 3.5 ounces, Halo achieves what was once thought impossible: a true 3-layer waterproof shell with full protection, full breathability, and no compromise in durability or coverage. Crafted from an advanced 3-Layer fabric and fully seam-taped, it delivers 10,000mm waterproofing and 30,000 g/m²/24hr breathability with a 30-denier micro-ripstop face fabric, balancing dependable weatherproofing with unprecedented packability. Combined with a comfortable 7-denier tricot lining which is comfortable next-to-skin, the Halo Ultralight Jacket is your new staple shell for any day with unpredictable weather.

Halo is built for endurance, speed, and the realities of high-output adventure. From alpine ridgelines to long-haul treks, it thrives where performance, precision, and protection intersect.

In an industry obsessed with lightness, Halo redefines what ultralight can mean.

Engineered to Eclipse /// The Halo doesn’t follow the benchmark - it becomes it.

ASAHI KASEI /// LEGACY OF PRECISION

A Century of Material Mastery

Long before “performance fabric” became a marketing term, Japan’s Asahi Kasei Group was engineering materials that quietly shaped industries, from textiles and filtration to medicine and mobility. Founded in 1931, Asahi Kasei built its reputation on precision: creating fibers fine enough for luxury tailoring, membranes robust enough for biotechnology, and materials trusted in life-critical environments.

From Savile Row to Storm Fronts

Among Asahi Kasei’s earliest breakthroughs was Bemberg®, a regenerated cotton-linter fiber that became the world’s benchmark for breathable suit linings, found in the garments of Savile Row and the ateliers of the world over. That same craftsmanship now informs the brand’s latest frontier: microporous membranes engineered for next-generation waterproof-breathable performance. What began as the science of comfort in bespoke tailoring has evolved into the science of protection in the world’s most advanced shells.

Innovation Beneath the Surface

The Halo Ultralight Jacket’s 3-layer fabric is produced by Asahi Kasei using the same deep-precision approach that drives its medical and environmental technologies. The membrane’s pore architecture, drawn from the company’s expertise in filtration and dialysis systems, balances a 10,000 mm waterproof rating with 30,000 g/m²/24 h breathability feature C0 PFC-free DWR treatment.

It’s protection engineered at a molecular level - a fabric born from disciplines where failure is not an option.
