Overview

Made for Triple Aught Design by Thomas Guething, the Bug is an incredibly small precision instrument built as a companion to your everyday knife. Milled from solid titanium, it offers a dedicated pry tip so it can and should be used in all those instances when you may normally abuse your knife. Developed with a flat profile, the Bug has an integrated lanyard hole that acts as a supplemental carry option for keychains. Its machined flat edge is capable of opening boxes once pressure is applied and serves as a secondary tool to lengthen the life of your knife’s edge. Our edition of the BUG has our triple fullers and the Guething Robot milled on one side and our Pathfinder graphic on the other. This edition comes in either blasted and tumbled or two tone finish. The Guething Bug TAD Edition was built to supplement your capabilities in any situation.

Due to the nature of custom items, slight variations may occur.

Behind the Scenes with Thomas Guething:

Thomas Guething is a self-proclaimed wizard and professional nerd with a passion for precision. In 2022, he bought his first CNC machine to prototype knife components — a decision that quickly evolved into an obsession with design, materials, and machining at the micron level.

Now based in Denver, Colorado, Thomas manufactures in 6Al-4V titanium and other high-performance alloys, driven by curiosity, craftsmanship, and “Just does what the robots tell him to do”.
