Overview

The Gambit Lined Glove reinterprets the classic full-finger driving glove through a lens of modern utility and disciplined execution. Built in close collaboration with Phillywood and produced in small, numbered batches in California, Gambit is designed for precise control, extended wear, and quiet protection when conditions cool. A lengthened cuff carries past the wrist for improved coverage and a clean interface with sleeves and outer layers.

The shell is cut from OSCI Pellami hairsheep leather from Italy, finished with a water-resistant treatment that protects the hide while preserving its natural softness and responsiveness. Free of PFAs, the leather delivers refined feel, dexterity, and lasting durability while helping limit moisture absorption and wear from perspiration. Integrated touchscreen leather supports continued use without removing the glove.

Inside, a 100% wool 12-gauge jersey knit lining provides natural warmth, breathability, and moisture regulation for sustained comfort. Tricot-lined light foam padding adds subtle structure and insulation without dulling feedback. Handcrafted and finished in California by Phillywood, Gambit brings together premium imported materials and precise West Coast workmanship for a glove defined by control, restraint, and considered execution.

Specifications

  • Care Instructions

    The leather has a water-resistant finish, but gloves should be kept dry whenever possible. Prolonged moisture exposure can damage the leather and internal layers.

    If gloves become wet:
    Blot moisture with a soft cloth. Do not rub.
    Air dry flat at room temperature. Never use direct sun or heat sources.
    Gently reshape and stuff with paper while drying to maintain form.

    For dirt or light buildup, use a slightly damp cloth for spot cleaning and allow to air dry. Avoid soaking or full submersion, as water can penetrate the lining and underlying leather layers.

    Optional leather balm or conditioner may be applied to help preserve and restore the surface. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated space. Do not seal in plastic.

    Do not wash, bleach, tumble dry, or iron. Professional leather cleaning only.

Gambit Lined Glove exterior is made from OSCI Pellami’s WR nappa leather tanned, water-resistant, and treated in Naples, Italy to deliver excellent tactile sensitivity, long-lasting softness, comfort, and durability.
