Overview
The Dauntless Lumablades Edition further refines the sleek aesthetic of our Dauntless by removing the forward choil to maximize the cutting edge of the hand ground CPM 154 blade. The familiar handle features are all there but in a liner-lock frame with Micarta slab overlays. A deep front choil and geared blackened titanium backspacer aid in grip while controlling the hollow-ground, bayonet style blade. For easier field maintenance a captured bearing race ensures a smooth and fast deployment with dual Zirconium custom thumbstuds. On this custom edition the pocket clip is blackened titanium.

The Dauntless design features a distinct combination of design elements and materials, including three fullers in the handle, single fuller on the blade, geared backspacer, bayonet point with swedge.

- Aesthetic: Meticulously designed with a high level of attention to detail, the Dauntless features a blind stop pin and lanyard pin, a blackened titanium pocket clip and stainless steel hardware.

Behind the Scenes with LumaBlades
Jason Luhmer comes from a law enforcement background as well as working in the trades. He is an avid outdoorsman. He has always worked with his hands and created things, including building guitars and furniture, and restoring classic cars and motorcycles. Making his first knife opened his eyes to the skills needed to make high quality folding knives, a craft he has relentlessly pursued.
He is dedicated to the creation of 100% American made knives. His drive and determination to achieve the highest quality is taken very seriously. Every knife is sole authorship, made in his shop using only the highest quality materials. From CAD design, to cutting out the blanks, heat treatment to the grinding of the blades and any CNC work that is done. Nothing is outsourced with the exception of Cerekote service. His goal is to provide the customer with a lifetime of satisfaction by owning one of his knives with the assurance that the maker whom they bought from has personally handled every aspect of their manufacture.
