The Cistern TAD Logo Mug is a sand carved ceramic mug that holds 12 ounces of your favorite  beverage and weighs in at a substantial 20 ounces. Handcrafted in California for almost 50 years, these mugs are built using techniques and quality standards rarely seen these days. The TAD logo is sand carved into the ceramic and then a color fill is applied by hand. The sand carving process results in a deep etch of the ceramic with laser-like precision.

Handwash only. The hand applied color fill is sensitive to harsh detergents and the extremely high water temperatures present in modern dishwashers. Using a dishwasher will degrade the color fill but will not, in any way, compromise the integrity of the mug itself.
