Overview
Named for the cold, forceful winds that descend from the mountains toward the Adriatic, the Bora is defined by exposure.
The Bora AC Jacket was built for the same.
Constructed from our lightweight Amphibious Cloth, the Bora creates a durable barrier against wind without the weight and bulk of a traditional shell. Its highly packable construction makes it easy to carry when conditions are calm and quick to deploy when moving air begins stripping away warmth.
Designed around mobility, the Bora moves comfortably across exposed ridgelines, coastlines, open terrain, and changing conditions. Amphibious Cloth dries quickly, resists wrinkles, sheds light precipitation, and requires minimal care, making the jacket equally suited to long days outside and complicated travel.
Because wind rarely announces its arrival.
When the air starts moving, the Bora is ready.

Access Under Load
The Bora's hand pockets are positioned for continued access while wearing various equipment types such as chest packs and plate carriers. Their placement keeps essential storage usable without forcing you to shift or remove overlying equipment.
ENGINEERED MOBILITY ///
Amphibious Cloth is built for lightweight durability rather than mechanical stretch, so mobility had to come from the pattern itself. A uniquely shaped armhole and integrated side panel create a gusset-like structure that enables generous forward and overhead arm movement without adding excessive volume or looseness to the jacket.
Coverage Without Compromise
The Bora's hood is shaped for increased coverage while preserving peripheral visibility. A single shock-cord adjustment simultaneously secures the hood around the head and lowers the visor for fast, intuitive protection as conditions change.
EQUIPMENT CLEARANCE
The stand collar is shaped to provide clearance from chest rigs, plate carriers, and other worn equipment, helping reduce bunching and pressure around the neck while maintaining protective coverage in exposed conditions.
LAYERed INTENT
The Bora features additional room through the body, shoulders, and upper sleeves to accommodate natural movement and light insulation underneath. The fit provides enough space to layer comfortably over pieces such as a Ranger Fleece while maintaining a streamlined outer profile.
ADJUSTABLE ACCESS
A two-way center-front zipper allows the jacket to open from the hem for improved mobility, ventilation, and access to equipment worn at the waist.
Bicep Pockets
Discreet, low-profile bicep pockets provide additional storage for small essentials, with covered zippers adding protection from wind and changing conditions.
TAPERED CUFF
Generous volume through the upper sleeve transitions into a close-fitting cuff to keep excess fabric controlled at the wrist. An integrated stretch gusset provides the give required for easy entry and unrestricted movement while maintaining a secure, low-profile finish.
Hunter's Pocket
Double-entry hunter’s pocket, provide streamlined storage that remains accessible under a rucksack, body armor, or harness.
INTERNAL RETENTION
Large front hand pockets incorporate 45-degree grosgrain clip rails for attaching keys, tools, and other clipped essentials. Their inward-facing orientation helps position secured items toward the center of the garment rather than allowing them to migrate toward the outer edges of the pockets.
AMPHIBIOUS CLOTH
Our Amphibious Cloth is a lightweight, durable synthetic fabric developed for movement through changing environments. Quick drying, highly packable, naturally wrinkle resistant, and easy to care for, AC provides dependable everyday utility without demanding specialized maintenance. Its combination of low weight and wind protection makes it particularly well suited to an outer layer designed to live in your pack until exposed conditions call for it.
