Overview
Ban Tang is at his best designing small concealable fixed blades that perform far greater than their size. The Barracuda is no exception, coming in at less than 3 ounces in the hand while still offering a full grip.This design was a ground up collaboration with Shivworks. The Barracuda is made of 3V and features a convex ground edge for impressively clean, razor-sharp cuts. A thin, flat and acute blade keeps the knife fast and light to work with.
The full size black G10 handle is a user customizable ambidextrous design.The wedge shape paired with diamond texturing on the handles reduces fore and aft movement during use. The handle sports an integrated hook for secure draw and blade orientation index, and is user-reversible to allow for forward or reverse edge configuration.
The Barracuda comes with a user configurable ambidextrous Kydex sheath with adjustable height Discreet Concepts Mod W clip.
Ease of carry makes this an around the clock companion, able to both see you through the mundane and keep pace when life turns you down a dark alley. Ultra-light and astonishingly sharp are vast understatements.
Minimalist design and lightweight build allow the Ban Tang Barracuda to serve as an ever-present concealable guardian.

Behind the scenes with ban tang
Ban Tang has always been captivated by sharp edges, a trait that lay the foundation for his distinctive style and has since been echoed through all of his creations. Completely self taught, he began making knives professionally in 2007 and has since refined his approach as he's grown as knifemaker. He believes a knife's principle function, to cut well, should never be sacrificed. He strives to perfect this as closely as possible with each of his designs, resulting in precise knives with balanced edge geometry and razor sharp blades like you've never seen before.
