**We debuted the original Ban Tang Bowie over ten years ago. This updated version has many improvements. Choosing ultra tough 3V steel broadens the use case of this lightweight powerhouse while an aggressive new grind improves upon already legendary cutting power. The new foldover IWB sheath with soft loop is minimal in design. **
Ease of carry make this an round the clock companion, able to both see you through the mundane and keep pace when life turns you down a dark alley. Ultra-light and astonishingly sharp are vast understatements.
The Bowie is made of 3V and features a convex ground edge for impressively clean, razor-sharp cuts .A longer more pronounced swedge and acute point aid in even greater cutting power in this already formidable lightweight package. A thin, flat blade keeps the knife fast and light to work with. The full size, resin soaked cord handle offers exemplary grip. A user configurable fold over sheath is compatible with small Tek-Loks, soft loops with Pull-The-DOT snaps, or shock cord carry. This edition comes with a versatile soft loop .
Minimalist design and lightweight build allow the Ban Tang 3V Bowie to serve as an ever-present concealable guardian.

Behind the Scenes with Ban Tang
Ban Tang has always been captivated by sharp edges, a trait that lay the foundation for his distinctive style and has since been echoed through all of his creations. Completely self taught, he began making knives professionally in 2007 and has since refined his approach as he's grown as knifemaker. He believes a knife's principle function, to cut well, should never be sacrificed. He strives to perfect this as closely as possible with each of his designs, resulting in precise knives with balanced edge geometry and razor sharp blades like you've never seen before.
