Refund policy

Return Authorizations may be requested for items in new and unwashed condition within the following time periods starting when you receive your order:

  • 30 Days: Apparel, Packs, and some equipment.
  • 10 Days: Hardware, knives, and select tools.

Returns will be refunded or exchanged within 5-10 days of processing your return package.

An important note regarding exchanges

Many of our products can sell out quickly. The most effective way to secure an exchange for different color or size is to immediately place a new order for the item you would like to exchange for. Request a return and refund for your originally ordered item, and we will issue refund your original form of payment once we receive your item back.

We are also glad to handle your exchange traditionally by shipping your exchange item once your returned item arrives back to us. We fill exchange orders as stock levels permit. Refund will be issued if we are out of stock on the requested exchange item.

Instructions

Return Authorization requests should be initiated by logging in to your account, or creating an account with us if you haven't already done so.

Once you are logged in, navigate to the order containing the item(s) you would like to return. There will be a "Returns" section below the list of items. Click that link to select which items you would like to return, whether you are seeking a refund or exchange, and to add any notes. 

Return Authorization requests are individually reviewed by the Customer Support team. Confirmation and instructions will be emailed when your RA is approved.

Triple Aught Design reserves the right to apply restocking fees, deny sales, or returns to customers making what we determine to be excessive, unreasonable, or fraudulent return requests.

Modifications to any gear, especially to edged items will void any return consideration.

Frequently Asked Questions

I bought an item online and would like to return it to your retail store location. Can I do this?

Yes, please feel free to return your unused items to our Dogpatch Base. We will be able to generate your RA in store for exchange with items in stock there, or refund to be processed within 2-3 days of bringing it in.

I bought an item in your retail store and would like to return it by mail. Can I do this?

Yes, you may return items purchased in our retail store within 30 days of initial receipt of your purchase by mail following the instructions provided above. Be sure to include your invoice information with the return and your refund will be issued in the form of a gift certificate.

Do you accept returns of final sale items?

No, we do not accept returns or exchanges on final sale merchandise, online or in store. Prices ending in .97 indicate a final sale purchase. Samples, prototypes, and seconds are sold "as is" and are not eligible for warranty coverage.

I received a gift and need to return it. What do I need to do?

Please contact our CX team to start the return request process. We will issue store credit for the purchased price of your returned items once we receive it.

Can I return a gift certificate that I purchased?

Gift certificates are considered a final sale and cannot be returned or refunded.

The item(s) I am returning were bought on sale or with a promo code. Will this affect my refund?

No, we will honor the original purchase price for any subsequent return transactions.

Do you accept returns on underwear?

No, given the personal nature of this type of product we can not accept returns for opened underwear items. We will, however, accept returns for unopened items. These products are still covered under our warranty policy if a defect is present. Please take a close look at our Fit Guide to ensure that you select the right size.
