Overview

Specially formulated to clean the fibers of synthetic base layers, NIKWAX Base Wash keeps your next-to-skin layers odor-free and breathable. Unlike conventional detergents, Base Wash will not leave behind hydrophobic residue that compromise the wicking performance of synthetic base layers.

Note that Base Wash is not recommended for use on garments with a wool content greater than 10%.

Instructions:

  1. Shake well before use. Follow care label instructions. Do not use fabric conditioner. Do not use on waterproof clothing.

  2. Place garments in washing machine.

  3. Use 2 fl. oz / 50 ml for front loading washing machines. For top loading machines, use 3.5 fl. oz / 100 ml for low water level, or 5 fl. oz. / 150 ml for medium water level.

  4. Wash according to care label
