Marketing Operations Manager

We are currently seeking a dynamic, creative, and tenacious Marketing Operations Manager. This impactful and exciting marketing operations role is a huge opportunity to help an incredible, growing brand reach a wider audience and take it to the next level. Our ideal candidate will be an extremely organized self-starter with an understanding of our target markets, analytics, social media, and be passionate about apparel and gear.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Development and implementation of seasonal marketing calendars, coordinating marketing needs and activities with internal and external partners.

  • Project management and coordination of promotional efforts including social media, direct marketing, events, sponsorships, retail experience, and public relations.

  • Assist in creating and publishing concise and engaging customer-facing content including product descriptions, blog posts, newsletters, forums, PR pitches, and social media conversations.

  • Support sales through the management of media and content, site optimization, and social community platforms.

  • Performance tracking and reporting for product marketing, public relations, and advertising activities, and analysis utilizing Google Analytics and other tools.

  • Research and analyze trends, purchasing habits, and the characteristics of consumers - identify traffic and conversion trends by channel, product line, and campaigns, and identify opportunities for improving site conversion.

  • Create analytical reporting and interpretation of data and historical trends

  • Conduct market research to help determine the direction of existing and future products - gather feedback on the company’s and competitor's’ products.

  • Measure the efficiency and effectiveness of demand-building programs.

  • Maintain the standards of the company’s PR materials, press releases, and strategies.

  • Act as a brand ambassador - share company vision through all forms of communication and cultivate it within.

  • Manage relationships with media and advertising.

  • Ensure cohesive and consistent brand messaging throughout all channels.

 

Preferred Experience:

 

  • 2-3 years in a marketing environment, preferably within the outdoor equipment / apparel industry.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and extreme attention to detail with the ability to work well under pressure and maintain schedules and deadlines.

  • Outstanding communication and writing skills.

  • Solid understanding of and experience in multi-channel analytics

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.

  • Exceptional knowledge of digital channels, including search, mobile, social media, and email.

  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of statistics - ability to gather appropriate input to inform decision-making particularly as it relates to financial impact in terms of sales, profitability, and KPIs.

  • Interest or involvement in activities that align with the Triple Aught Design brand.
